I love finding small vintage photos! I got a few recently at a antique show and one of them was an amazing Steampunk looking girl! Wearing a top hat and holding a cane she was perfect for a Steampunk/ Victorian inspired charm necklace. I also added vintage watch parts inside a vintage watch crystal along with a cool repro watch key charm. I think this necklace turned out super cool!

Here’s a collection of new wooden pendants I’ve made. They are 1 1/2″ wide with a vintage book illustration sealed on a round wooden disc. Each has a sterling silver plated bail on the back for hanging on a chain.
All are available in my Etsy shop, only $7 each!
Wow, I’ve been a terrible blogger lately, sorry! Right before Thanksgiving my 93 year old Grandfather passed away and then I’ve been all caught up getting ready for the holidays, it’s been a hectic (and sad) time.
Right before all this happened though I spent a lot of time getting new jewelry pieces made and am just now getting them on-line. I made a bunch of single soldered pendants and also many charm necklaces too.
Here’s a few new Alice in Wonderland themed necklaces, all currently available in my Etsy shop (along with many more new items as well).
Thanks for stopping by!
Here’s a few soldered glass pendants I’ve made recently.
These are from a gorgeous book of fairy tale with illustrations from Tasha Tudor:
and these cuties are from a book about kids and ponies:
These pendants are currently available in my Etsy Shop.
Been playing around with more new Halloween stamps from Inkadinkado.
I’m in love with the Voodoo Doll stamps, a cute witch and funky cat. I thought they’d make perfect shrink plastic charms so I stamped them on white shrink plastic using Staz-On ink, colored them with colored pencils, punched a hole for the jump rings and strung them on a chain. I also added a small domino with the word “Voodoo”.
This Death Head Moth stamp is spooky but also seemed a little vintage to me, like an insect specimen so I made a collage with a vintage feel with it. It’s on layers of pattern paper embellished with vintage lace, a vintage button and a chipboard label with brads.
This X-Ray of a Trick or Treat bag is just so evil! Along with the candy there is a razor blade in the apple, brass knuckles and a big knife. Probably not a stamp for everyone but I like twisted things so I think it’s really cool I added some poison labels cut from some pattern paper and added the color tinting with small sponges and ink.
I wanted to share another mixed media charm necklace. It is on a ball chain and has a soldered stamped domino and a soldered round wooden game piece that I added vintage text too as well as a silver charm. I love how these clink around and move as you wear them!
A pretty bird escaping his cage:
available in my Etsy Shop. (sold)
I found a lovely princess image in one of my vintage children’s books recently and thought she looked like Marie Antoinette so I made a mixed media charm necklace with it around that theme. I soldered the illustration in glass and added two other soldered game pieces, a domino I colored blue and stamped a crown on and a round wooden game piece that I added vintage “eat cake” text too, there is also a silver charm of a hand holding a heart.
This necklace is currently available in my Etsy shop, click here.
I’m listing some new domino charm jewelry in my Etsy shop this week. And right now I’m working on lots of great new collage art Halloween soldered glass pendants. There are already some in the shop but I’ll listing a lot more in the next week or so, so be sure to check back
I love this Poe charm, great for Halloween or anyone who loves to read.
And of course Alice is always one of my faves. In addition to the domino charm there are also wooden game tiles with vintage text.
This one is nice and creepy for Halloween, the headless horseman. “Ichabod………..”
And this cute one has scrabble tiles that spell out “BOO” and a cute ghost shaped jingle bell.
Here’s a couple of new charm necklaces I’ve made recently. I’m enjoying mixing altered and soldered game pieces and charms together.
The first one is sort of a pun, it’s a skeleton key necklace. A large metal key with a skull charm and a soldered domino charm with dancing skeletons.
This one is all Alice, a tiny glass bottle filled with blue beads and three soldered game charms, a domino with Alice on a blue background, an “A” scrabble tile with vintage “Alice” text and a vintage bingo tile with vintage “drink me” text.
These are both currently available in my Etsy shop, click here to visit.
Ok, I also can’t seem to stop making things with Alice in Wonderland either I’ve been making Alice jewelry and collages for years now and am happy to see a big jump in popularity because of the new Burton movie. Somerset Studio even did another issue with lots of wonderful Alice art, the first Alice issue some years back is still one of my favorites and I still have my dog-eared copy.
and here’s my favorite, a charm bracelet. It has charms made with shrink plastic, soldered wooden game pieces, a tiny glass bottle, soldered dominoes, vintage King and Queen puzzle pieces, vintage text and silver charms.
All these items are currently for sale in my Etsy shop, click here.
