Wow, I’ve been a terrible blogger lately, sorry! Right before Thanksgiving my 93 year old Grandfather passed away and then I’ve been all caught up getting ready for the holidays, it’s been a hectic (and sad) time.
Right before all this happened though I spent a lot of time getting new jewelry pieces made and am just now getting them on-line. I made a bunch of single soldered pendants and also many charm necklaces too.
Here’s a few new Alice in Wonderland themed necklaces, all currently available in my Etsy shop (along with many more new items as well).
Thanks for stopping by!

Here’s a few soldered glass pendants I’ve made recently.
These are from a gorgeous book of fairy tale with illustrations from Tasha Tudor:
and these cuties are from a book about kids and ponies:
These pendants are currently available in my Etsy Shop.
Here’s a couple more recent Halloween soldered charms and one not so Halloween đ
This first is a tiny black domino, I used white permanent ink to stamp on the dancing skeletons, this is perfect for Halloween and Dia de Los Muertos.
This soldered glass pendant is a cool vintage hanging bat stamp I found on Etsy. I stamped him on vintage dictionary paper.
This last one is sooooo spooky….NOT đ It’s a Queen Bee charm necklace, the large soldered domino has beehive paper and a silver bee charm, the smaller says Queen and there is also a large silver crown charm.
These are all available in my Etsy shop.
In many of the vintage books I find there is usually a sweet picture on the title page of a child or animal reading a book, these make some of my favorite pendants! I love to read and despite the fact that I cut up books for my art I do dearly love books. I always try to find books that are falling apart, unwanted and unloved so I can give them a new life.
Here’s a few new “reading” pendants, both are currently available in my Etsy shop. And be on the look out for lots more new pendants in the coming weeks, I’ve gotten several great books recently with some wonderful illustrations.
Wow, where did the month of December go?……..:)
I’ve really been enjoying making more of the round glass bubble charms, they are so tiny and sweet. Here’s a few of my recent favorites.
These can all be found in my Etsy Shop.
I’ve been very busy making lots of collage art soldered pendants for Halloween. I’ve done lots of witches, women and little girls, a bat fairy and some little wizards too. I think some of these would be great for Harry Potter fans also đ Each hand cut collage is mounted on vintage Italian book paper and sandwiched between glass and soldered around the edges. I added black patina to the solder. These pendants are currently available here in my Etsy shop.
I adore the little grumpy witch asking “who are you calling a witch?”, I almost kept her for myself đ
I’m really happy with the bat fairy, I think she’s so cool.
The vintage children’s books I use for alot of my solder pendants sometimes have very tiny but cute art in them. Too small for even 1″ square pendants I thought I could find a way to make some teeny pieces with them. So recently I got some flat backed round glass bubbles that are about 3/4″. I soldered around the edges and back and they are perfect. Like a little window with a tiny surprise inside it. I adore the way they turned out!
These can currently be found in my Etsy shop.
I recently found a couple more gorgeous vintage children’s books, one was in pretty bad shape and that makes it easier to cut it up:) They both have some wonderful illustrations that I’m turning into soldered pendants. Here’s a few I’ve made so far.
This first one I really love, the white cow is so sweet but mostly because I feel so clever with what I put on the back side:
This next one is a sweet Momma Cat and her kittens:
A birds nest and bird flying away (love this one!):
and this one is a child riding a horse under a full moon, really neat:
All these pendants are currently for sale here in my Etsy shop. And I’ll be adding even more in the next few days.
