Foiled Mermaid Card for MerMay

Wednesday, May 6th, 2020

Each May artists on Instagram create mermaid themed projects for #MerMay. I love mermaids so I try to create at least one mermaid card each May. This one was made using a digital stamp and a Glaminator Foiling Machine. I love the shimmer foils can add to digital stamps. It also makes them easy to color because the foiling can’t smear.

Somebunny Loves You

I’ve got one last card for Valentine’s Day to share. Using a digital Bunny stamp from Isabel Cristina’s Sending Love set and dies from Stampin’ Up for a partial die cutting technique to make this sweet card. I colored my images with Tri-Blend Markers from Spectrum Noir and added accents with a white gel pen.

I created this spooky Halloween Shadow Box using products from Tim Holtz and items from the craft store. It would be the perfect center piece for a haunted Halloween table. I filmed a video on how to make one, you can click here to watch it in HD on my Youtube channel or check it out down below.

Windy Day Pinwheel Card

Thursday, April 25th, 2019

In another attempt to use stamps for different occasions then they were designed I’ve used a fox from the Winter is Coming set from Hello Bluebird on this Spring Pinwheel card. I also used a woodgrain die from Lawn Fawn for a windy sky. I made the cute little 3D pinwheels from paper patterns, they are so fun to add to cards.

Read Any Good Books Lately?

The latest challenge from Lawnfanatics  is to use Lawn Fawn stamps to create a card inspired by a book, movie or song. I made a card inspired by Lady and the Tramp using stamps from the Critter’s in the Burbs, Critters at the Dog Park, Meow You Doin’, Bannerific and Critters Ever After.
