Oh, My Deer!

Monday, July 27th, 2015

I found a package of small plastic deer toys at the antique shop, I added an eye screw to one and turned him into a charm for a necklace. I also added some book text that syas “Oh, deer” to a vintage D Scrabble tile and soldered around the edges for the other charm. I love how this one turned out! This necklace is currently for sale in my Etsy shop.

I think this Pirate necklace turned out so cool! I made a soldered glass charm using a vintage dictionary illustration, I soldered a vintage Scrabble tile (X marks the spot), hand stamped a metal tags and added a skull bead.

My Dear Mr. Darcy,

Friday, June 15th, 2012

Here’s a charm bracelet inspired by one of my all time favorite authors, Jane Austen. I stamped and shrunk a silhouette of a woman from shrink plastic, soldered two scrabble tiles and added dictionary words to each, along with a hand holding a heart charm and a ink pen nib. I’m really happy with how it turned out.
